At A&W, caring about serving great-tasting food also means caring about what goes into it. That's why we only serve chicken that’s raised without the use of antibiotics and fed a grain-based, vegetarian diet without animal by-products. We’re also proud to say that all of our chicken burgers and strips are made with seasoned, 100% chicken breast, without fillers. It’s all part of our commitment to serve you food you can feel good about.
Where does our chicken come from?
All of the chicken we serve comes from family farms across British Columbia and Saskatchewan. We work with farmers who are committed to doing the right thing – raising their chickens without the use of antibiotics.

Room to roam
Old-fashioned values meet modern-day quality at the May Family Farm, where chickens are humanely raised in large barns, with room to roam and ample access to fresh air and clean water.
